Our vision for our wedding celebration is to share a meal at a table surrounded by people who have significantly contributed to our lives. There is a seat with your name on it and we cannot wait to share this evening by the water and under the trees with you.

The Plan
Friday, June 7
Welcome Party ​​
Please arrive at 5300 France Avenue S., Edina, MN 55410 (Calvary Church parking lot near the wedding venue) at 4:45 p.m. We will board a charter bus out to Big Stone Mini-Golf and Sculpture Garden for a night of quirky art, friendly competition, picnic dining (on us), and chats by a fire. Mini-golf is $15/person CASH ONLY. If you cannot make the bus, please come join us at the location when you are able!
Time: 4:45-9:00 pm
Attire: Casual dress.
Saturday, June 8
Wedding Celebration
Join us in a creekside backyard near Laura's childhood home. The event will begin with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails with a short ceremony and a slow dinner to follow.

Time: 6:00-10:00 pm
Attire: Dress to celebrate. No ties or heels necessary.
Sunday, June 9
Bike and Brew
For those who want to keep the party going, Laura's dad, Steve, will lead a family-favorite bike ride around the lakes to Surly Brewing (we can point you to bike rental options or you can meet the group there).
Time: 1:00 pm
Attire: Ready for bikes, beer, and games.
This is a giant Bull Thistle at Farmhouse 58, the site of our engagement in the Cradle of Humankind, South Africa.
The thistle represents the resilience, devotion, bravery, determination, and strength that we hope to embody in our partnership. Expect to see nods to the thistle at the celebration.
June 8th
Our wedding celebration will be a backyard dinner party alongside Minnehaha Creek, under the trees, and in the grass.
​To keep this celebration an intimate dinner, we deliberately chose each person who will join us at the table. Please plan on contributing to the evening whether with your blessing, stories, songs, talents, or encouragement.

We recommend flying into MSP International Airport, which is about 12 minutes from our venue.
Where to Stay
The Westin, Edina. This hotel is a few miles from the wedding venue and is in a popular location for restaurants and shopping.
The Hewing Hotel, Downtown Minneapolis. While further from the location of the wedding itself, the Hewing is a fun modern hotel with a great rooftop near many of the city's most popular restaurants and bars.
AirBnB in Edina, MN. Some of our guests may want to use an AirBnB option. The zip code of the wedding venue is 55410.
Gifts
We would love for willing guests to select and bring a favorite vinyl record for our collection; something meaningful to you that we can keep in our home to remind us of you.
Our wedding venue hosts were complete strangers to us when Jeff walked up and boldly asked if we could have our wedding in their backyard. Our hosts volunteer with Children Surgery International, and Dr. Patricia Valusek has performed many overseas surgeries for children as a volunteer this year.
